The Other Art Fair

An Art Fair for a new generation of Art buyers

The Other Art Fair provides a place for art lovers around the world to discover and buy art directly from the very best emerging artistic talent.

The Here+Now team has worked on 15 editions of The Other Art Fair and counting. We head up the operations and production for The Other Art Fair London, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and Toronto. Working closely with the local Fair Directors we manage all aspects of the show logistics, feature artist installations, exhibitor and sponsor operations, contractors, Health & Safety, and licensing.

We have been lucky enough to help produce activations for guest artists and event partners such as David Shrigley’s reusable cup, JR’s Inside Out Project, Camile Wahala’s entrance mural, Gary Baseman’s Purr Room, Reeps One secret gig, and Scott Campbell’s secret tattoo lottery.

As The Other Art Fair continues to grow we support the management team by providing assistance with venue sourcing for future events and ongoing stakeholder and contractor management.

Somnex - THE SLEEP SHOW

The first ever show dedicated to sleep health

Somnex – The Sleep Show was the first ever trade and consumer event dedicated to sleep health. Visitors were able to access expert advice, try innovative new products, and enjoy interactive experiences. Talks, presentations, and one-to-one consultations ran throughout three days at the Truman Brewery, alongside 120 exhibitors and partners.

Here+Now provided production, operations, and onsite event management for this inaugural event. This involved helping the organisers design the floorplan from scratch, creating an entire onsite event identity, exhibition management, and end to end production services.

Considered Design Hub by Farfetch

Positively Farfetch sponsored area

Custom interactive display solution to showcase the winning looks of the Farfetch Considered Design Awards and provoke discussion about sustainability in the fashion industry at Graduate Fashion Week 2019.

The multifunctional space needed to combine garment display with a talkspace and a high impact visual backdrop.

We combined an affordable truss structure with a custom display plinth to display the shortlisted looks for the competition. A bespoke, sustainably sourced CNC pegboard was made to convey the brand’s sustainability message of ‘Positively’ Farfetch. Visiting students were asked to add coloured wool threads to the pegboard to poll their views on their sustainability priorities. Over the course of the event, while talks were hosted to explore the future of sustainable fashion, the pegboard became a vibrant talking point.

“Nicky and Ethan were able to take a very broad client brief and really drill down into what was required to be translated into a physical exhibit. They worked closely with the client throughout with huge professionalism, providing fantastic ideas and guidance that delivered a hugely successful exhibit that formed our first Sustainability hub at Graduate Fashion Week. “

Graduate Fashion Week

The world’s largest event for fashion graduates

Graduate Fashion Week is a charity organisation founded in 1991 to unify both UK and international university fashion courses and create a stronghold for the creative industries.

Showcasing the work of over 1000 of the very best students and graduates, the annual GFW event attracts 30,000 guests each June. Each event features over 20 catwalk shows, exhibitions from over 40 universities, and the acclaimed GFW Gala Awards Show.

The Here+Now team began working with the charity’s Managing & Creative Director Martyn Roberts (Fashion Scout) in 2015. We handled the event production and operations – managing all third party suppliers, event procurement and tenders, exhibition and catwalk logistics, event catering and hospitality, plus event recruitment and staffing.

As the event grew in scale and ambition the Here+Now team was instrumental in this growth, continually developing and delivering this highly complex event, until 2018.

Our creative production and design skills were utilised to contribute to highly successful event sponsorship activations, catwalk show visuals, an annual branding refresh, pre-event marketing assets, and large signage schemes for the entire event. We continue to provide this support as the charity moves into a new era.

The three of them are completely reliable and I confidently recommend them to all potential clients.
